On the program, Rebecca talks about her love of songs and her collaborative nature, which makes her the perfect headline act for Gil’s Hootenanny.
Besides being a singer, songwriter, song interpreter and collaborator, Rebecca is also a live event producer, stage manager and visual artist. Rebecca is a magical performer who creates music that has been described as “emotionally rooted”, “honest” and “interactive”. She honed her musical artistry in Ottawa before moving to Toronto. Rebecca has also been performing and collaborating with a who’s who of individuals and groups in large and small venues for over three decades.
Gil’s Hootenanny will take place at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, April 30, at 30 Cleary Avenue, the campus of the First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa. The venue is accessible, has ample parking and is serviced by OC Transpo.
Tickets for Gil’s Hootenanny are $20 (plus fees). Kids are welcome to attend free of charge.
